Truth is.........

Truth is.......it's National Cupcake Day and somehow, I forgot.  That's just NOT right!
Truth is.......I just STARTED Christmas shopping.

Truth is.......just need to put a few more ornaments on the tree and it is done and that damn ladder that has been in the MIDDLE of the family room can be put away.

Truth is......I ordered Christmas cards at MIDNIGHT on Saturday.  I think they get here next Tuesday.

Truth is......I don't have time to care.

Truth is......Trammell and Jen (the sutnningly beautiful fiancee) arrive tomorrow, so NOTHING else matters.

Truth is......every single year, I get to about the 15th and wish that we had JUST ONE EXTRA week to get ready for Christmas.  Why can't we turn back the hands of time?

Truth is......every single year, I swear that NEXT year will be different.  Guess what?  It won't!

I'm feeling pretty good today, because I've already bought presents for three people for next Christmas. Two of them are ungrateful nieces who never show genuine appreciation for anything that doesn't have a designer label on it. I will no longer waste any time on hand-making thoughtful gifts for them; I bought them some on-sale Bath & Body stuff. SO happy to check those off the list! Good luck to you this year! :)

Truth is.. I stopped sending out Christmas cards about 15 yrs ago. The best stress reduction I could have done for the holiday season!! (We actually sent out 20 to close friends and family this year, because I am looking for new ways to show my son I support his passions and possible career choce- I co missed him to draw a Christmas card this year)
