RaNDoM Thoughts - It's the LEAST I can do!

Do we still do RaNDoM around here?
Is Keely still on hiatus?  Is Stacy still picking up the slack?
We'll see!
Stacy

* Right now, I am on an airplane headed to NYC.
It's a little last minute trip.
I'm not a last minute person.
We have NO idea what we are going to do while there.
THIS should be interesting.
Should we see Wicked, Lion King or Jersey Boys?
Am I the ONLY one in the free world who has NO interest in Wicked?

* We received our FIRST letter from Garrett since dropping him off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah last week.  Normally, the missionaries email once a week, but they have them WRITE <- does anybody DO that anymore? a letter home the first night telling their parents that they are safe and sound.

I'll share that later this week!

* Not a week goes by that Brian and I don't look at each other and ask
"Is Justin still dead?"
(It's only been two months.  Maybe we'll eventually process it and get it into our heads.)

But GOOD NEWS!
He's evidently NOT dead!!!
We got this email from his email account on Sunday.

"Hi! How are you getting on? I’m fine. I have rid of my problems due to this on-line pharmacy.... http://www.stadcopolyproducts.com/friends_links.php?bampage=50i0"

Wow!  Those are some drugs!!!  They bring people back from the dead!  Amazing........
and ironic!

* My mom is doing SO well with her chemotherapy that they have moved her Bone Marrow Transplant up a couple of months.  I know.  That doesn't sound like good news but it means that after just a few months of chemo, her test results are looking so good, she can move on to the next phase of treatment.
Look how cute she is -

* I have to admit.  I'm a little bit disappointed that the whole Rapture thing didn't work out.  I was debating paying the American Express billl.  Good thing I went ahead and paid.

Your mom looks like a doll!!! That`s good news about her test results!

Now Rapture will apparently be in October. I wonder what month it will be after that. LOL

Happy Random Tuesday!

You should see Wicked; I saw it in NYC and it was amazing! Happy RTT.

A last minute trip to NY sounds like fun - there's so much to do, I doubt you'll have trouble winging it! ;)

Your mom looks great!! So glad she's responding to treatment so well - I'll still be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.

Don't you just love that the guy who predicted the Rapture (again) has now changed the date to October? Maybe he's hoping that the third time will be the charm. If that fails (again), I suppose we could look forward to the other end-of-world date of December 21, 2012. ;)

I love that you got an actual letter from Garrett - nobody seems to do that the 'old fashioned' way any more! ;)

Thanks for rockin' the random rebellion with me again - I plan to keep it going indefinitely! ;)

Chicken Salad, Marathon Dog, and I'm a Winner - or is that Wine-r?

What would have been truly ironic is if he had come back and said that December 21, 2012 was the day. But then he would have had to agree with the heathens so maybe not.

I don't do last minute either. My OCD kicks in and everything turns to chaos and I sit on the verge of a meltdown.

Wow, I want to know what kind of drugs "Justin" was getting. Of course I have no interest in clicking on that link.

I'm sure American Express appreciates your cynicism.

:-)

Hooray for Mom! She looks beautiful. You know, my brother passed in 2006 and there isn't a day I can hardly believe he's gone. He had just turned 40. It's now been 5-years.

You Mom looks great.
Wicked was over rated (read the book).
I think remembering someone is gone goes from being an all the time thing to a "a funny thing happened that reminded me" kind of thing. Then it goes to not so much "they're gone" as "they're always there in the little things". I guess I'm saying it gets better.

Yeah, Wicked is not my cup of tea and your mom is totally cuters!!!

And Rapture smapture - honestly, I think it did happen we are all just screwed so nobody noticed.

Have fun in NYC!

I'm not interested in Wicked either. I read the book and didn't like it. See The Lion King.

My grandma died in 1994 and sometimes I still think, she just can't be dead. I miss her terribly.

Wow, talk about wonder drugs!!

I'm so happy your mom's chemo is going well. She's such a doll!

Good news on the Rapture thing. Camping says he was wrong (again, don't forget the 1994 fiasco) and it's rescheduled for Oct. 21.

Happy RTT!

LION KING!

Wish I'd have known, I'd hopped on a train and met you there. :)

We're thinking of doing a surprize trip for the kids after we get back from Vegas.. a "family moon" if you will. Just overnight, but for us it's really inexpensive.

Glad mom is doing well. As for the Justin tragedy, I still have no words. (((Hugs)))

Cute hair mom!!!!
Have fun in NY. Figures that I'd be feeling better right as you go out of town!
Dave flies into NY tomorrow morning too! He's heading north of the city though.
See you when you get home!

Oh don't judge Wicked from the books!!! Those were horrible!!!! The play is amazing! Especially if you know the songs before hand!!! I love it! Its my favorite by far!!! I thought Lion King was alright.

Hope you had a super fun time and picked a great play. Almost hated the book Wicked, yet still feel slightly compelled to be swayed by the masses who say the play is much better. My surfing time has been limited lately, but also wanted to say that I love the fishy background--so fun!

Your mother looks great! I wish her a speedy and good recovery.
I wasn't that interested in Wicked either. I saw it and still didn't love it, although I did like it.

That must have been crazy getting an email from "Justin"! Been thinking about him a lot too.

Your mom told me I'd like your blog and I do. It's very cheerful! I cried when I got a linkedin notification of "people you may know" and Justin was at the top of the list. I'm still in shock...

I hated the book, but Wicked is great!

I'm glad your mom is doing well.
