PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR EVERYONE ON YOUR LIST!

What is Anti Monkey Butt Powder?
And if it's what I think it is, why is it being sold at Ace Hardware?
And WHY are they advertising it as a Stocking Stuffer?
Wow!  I am definitely old, conservative and perhaps, a bit of a prude.
There is definitely TMI out there.

I was going through all the circulars in the newspaper yesterday.
Told you I am old!  I STILL read the newspaper.
Anyway, I'm looking at the Ace Hardware ad and in a section called "Stocking Stuffers,"
there is Anti Monkey Butt Powder, Baby Anti Monkey Butt Powde and Lady Anti Monkey Butt Powder.
WTH?

"Anti Monkey Butt Powder is specially formulated to absorb excess sweat and reduce frictional skin irritation. It is Ideal for butt busting activities such as truck driving, motorcycling, bicycling, horse back riding, and extreme sports. May also be applied inside footwear, under sports pads, and other areas prone to chafing. Indoors or outdoors, work or play, or on occasions when you sit on your butt all day, don’t let your buns get red, use Anti Monkey Butt Powder instead!"
No really.  That's straight off their website.

Watch their holiday promotional video-

Who DOESN'T want this in their stocking?
I think I'll buy a case and give one to my dad, oh and Lady Monkey Butt for my mom, how about the mail person?  Yes, one for each of my children and a couple for the neighbors.  Oh, the kid's teachers would appreciate some! I better get two cases!

William is a runner. He gets chaffed near his underarm areas from swinging his arms while running while wearing tank top type track shirts. He has a friend who also has that problem and he recommeded a product called "Glyde"...We looked ALL OVER Target for Glyde, but couldn't find any..we fanned out on our search, he went one way, I went the other. I did find some "Glide" or I actually think it was called "Astro Glide". It was in the section where they sell stuff like condoms, but it was called "Glide" and it was waterproof and seemed like it would work for protecting the under arm area from rubbing and chaffing...so I put it in my cart. When I found William later in he looked at it, read the label, and said "is this what I think it is?" "Is this LUBE." "MOM!" And I convinced him that it was called "glide" and it was for skin, it would work and it must be what his friend told him to get. He knew some of the checkers at the store, he refused to go to the check out area with his mom with that in the cart. We didn't get it. Later, at Big 5, not Target, we did find the stuff his friend was referring to and it really was called "Glyde". Gotta shop for that stuff at Big 5, I learned....Target is too broad of a place for our search! (Anyway, to relate this to your post, the lady at Target recommended the monkey butt stuff for William's arm chaffing problem)

Well, this mailperson would love some monkey butt powder. If only I had a monkey butt to put it on...

Uhm, we've tried the Monkey Butt. The diaper creme is actually pretty nice stuff. PB uses other "anti-friction" creme when he bikes, though. The powder just didn't cut it.
