Garrett is one of the captains of the lacrosse team.

He and the other captains are considering purchasing "team ties," as in neck ties, that everyone can wear to school on game day.

Sometimes they wear their jerseys, sometimes they wear a polo shirt but sometimes they dress up.

Most of the boys, shockingly, don't like dressing up.
They come up with all kinds of excuses as to why they can't dress up.

The captains figure that if they have a team tie, they won't have an more excuses (I'm sure there will ALWAYS be excuses).

Garrett asked if I would do a little search online to come up with some options.
Here is what I found.
What do you think?

OK option 4 that isn't an option made me laugh. I could see every boy wanting that one.

I say #1 or #2. Really doesn't matter, pretty much the same. #3 out, can you get amymore boring church looking.

I bet many boys don't have really nice dress up clothes. We live in a nice upscale area, but still many kids don't have button up shirt/tie with dress shoes clothes. Polos, and dockers are it. Nor would they every wear them again. kwim?

Missty - you are right. The kids don't own a lot of dress up clothes. When Trammell was captain, they dressed up ALL the, not so much.

Great idea! My boys had to dress up when they had track meets, tennis or wrestling matches. I wish we had thought of team ties.(Well, the girls did too but they didn't need ties.) What are the school colors? If one isn't blue, I'd go with the black tie...but I'd let the team decide.

4!! Seriously though, I like 1 or 2 as well. As far as not all of them having dress up clothes... I have a 16yr old brother and my experience is they will find a way to wear a tie be it with a dress shirt or around their head or like a belt. For some reason this is cool??

Option 1 would be my choice because it could go with either white or blue shirts.
