RANDOM THOUGHT TUESDAY

Yea for Tuesday!
Yea for
RANDOM!

Write your own random and link up with Keely at
The Unmom!

You’ll have fun! Really!

And now, for today’s RANDOM

*I LOVE Fall!

It snowed yesterday on the last real day of summer. I loved it! It’s supposed to do it again today. Maybe I’ll get out my Fall decorations. Or maybe I should just skip the Fall decorations and go straight to Christmas.

*I should NOT go out in public.
Public riles me! I took a little trip to the mall and Costco yesterday and I would just like to say:
Do NOT wear your velour sweatsuit outside of your house. How many times have aI said this? People! That sweatsuit is for lounging around your family room or staying cozy around the house. If you’ve had it on for more than, say 20 seconds, the butt it all baggy. The clingy velour does NOT hide cellulite or rolls of extra flesh. I don’t care if it is pink, gray or chocolate – do NOT wear it in public.

*Also about fashion – Isn’t the purpose of a thong to eliminate panty lines? If your pants are so tight or the material is so clingy that we can see your THONG lines, what does that say? Don’t answer that.
But I saw a lot of thong lines yesterday. I think I’ll stay home today.

*I really know how to PARTY!

I made some yummy cookies yesterday and to add
some extra special fun to the process, I decided to clean my mixer……..with a toothpick. Yeah, sometimes I get caught up in important projects like that. Like the time I shined the stainless toaster.

*I have been at the bookstore and picked up the book The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao about 100 times.

It won the Pulizter Prize. I read about 30 books a year, so I should probably stop and read a Pulitzer Prize Winner…….BIG MISTAKE.
This book stinks! The language is HORRIBLE well at least the part I can understand. Have of the book is in Spanish slang. When they aren’t saying the “F” word, they are doing it. And language aside, I guess I forgot to go to school when we studied the Dominican Republic. There is a lot of boring history packed in this book. There are tons of footnotes though, so if you 1) care about DR history and 2) enjoy 4 point type, you can learn a lot – besides swear words.
The author teaches at MIT and I’m going to make sure to never take one of his classes.

Well, I think I’ve done a good job illustrating my ignorance today……so I’ll quit while I’m????ahead?????
Go get your velour sweatsuit on and write your own random or curl up on the couch with your own Pulizter Prize trash.

I am so jealous that it snowed where you are!! It's been so hot and humid here. Today it's raining, which is nice, but it's not snow! I love winter.

I knew there was a reason I hardly ever leave my house. Velour sweatsuits and thong lines, yuck!!

Great randomness!

Have a good day,

Raven

Hairy butt cracks and thongs is what I saw on sat. G.R.O.S.S I agree. Velour is for at home. Being cozy. Love your randomness!

Yup, velour track suits are for lounging at home only, and if your thong lines are showing, your pants are too tight !

I hated that book, too! I agree no one should wear velour out of the house. It wasn't cool int he 80's and it isn't cool now.

Snow? Oh my. I am not ready for that at all. I love fall though and the cooler temps!

Thong lines... yeah. That is just gross. I don't get it at all!

The book sounds lame. I am glad to know not to try to read it... not that I would ever pick up a Pulitzer prized book anyways. hah!

I'm ashamed to admit this. I have one of those velour outfits. *whispers: a brown one* I'm never wearing it again! But to my credit, I have never worn a thong, and I don't plan to start, at my age!

I can't believe you got snow already. I don't look forward to that at all!!!

The only people that can wear a velour sweatsuit out and about is a teenager.

Velour track suits should not be worn outside of the home. Heck, they shouldn't even be available for purchase. Those things give me the willies.

Thong lines? EWWWWWWWW!Makes you wonder what is wrong with people.

Nice random and Yay for snow! (gulp, did I just say that?!)

Velour track suits are a crime against humanity and should be banned. Banned!

Ok wait. It snowed?! Like do you live at the top of a mountain? How is it possible for it to be cold enough to snow yet?! And you are happy about this?! I'm so glad I live in Texas.

Thanks for stopping by.

would you totally laugh at me if I told you I was wearing velour right now?? cause I am... and I am going to go jogging, then shopping, then out to dinner in it. (in that order)

Look at me, I like to jog, right?
HAHA!

Although I will say in all honesty that i have a black set that i wore all during my pregnancy cause it was the only thing that would say UP and that I could bend in. I was soooo uncomfortable that pregnancy that when i was home i always had on a muu muu. Be glad you weren't my neighbor. LOL

My comment was so full of errors I had to delete it and start over.

Snow! Yea! Okay so not really it was actually hot yesterday here. I'd like consistency thank you very much Weather Man.

Velour sweatsuits make me want to vomit. Also? The mom at the bus stop who wears the baggy pj pants from the 90's that people used to wear in public you know the ones I mean right? Hers are the American flag. One leg stars one leg stripes...really scary.
