EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! 911!

Believe it or not, this is WORSE than the Great Computer Crisis of 2009 (which, is still ongoing!)

I am OUT of laundry detergent!
Well, I have enough for two loads.
But, alarms are going off!

I usually do three loads a day and with just enough detergent for 2 loads.........
Someone isn't getting their clothes washed!

I have had FREE laundry detergent for the last 14 years of my life!
Yep - perk of Brian's job.
He left the laundry industry 18 months ago and my endless supply of laundry detergent is finally drying up.

I stood in the aisle of WalMart yesterday and stared at the detergents for 10 minutes.
Then I left.

Help me!  What do you use? Why?
Sell me!
I need laundry detergent ASAP - like yesterday!

I may not be the best person to ask but we just use the big detergent from Costco. I am a man though so I am good with whatever!

hahaha...I was just going to comment...but read the comment before mine....but, HEY, I am still going to comment....DON'T use the Costco brand in the big boxes...it doesn't dissolve in cold water, so your laundry doesn't get clean and is covered in little grains of detergent when it is done. That's what I was going to say. Good luck.

This made me laugh! I would certainly agree that being out of detergent is a crisis! I love Gain but have yet to ever sell my mother on it. She is a Tide girl through and through. But what would I know I use Dreft that they make for babies, mostly because it used to be the only thing they sold in a pink bottle! Ha ha

I use Arm and Hammer. Only liquid. I don't really like the powder soap.

costco brand liquid soap. it sells itself because I won't spend the extra eight bucks (!!!) for tide for the exact same amount of detergent. so tide probably is more heavily scented if you care about that, but honestly, the laundry is clean either way. :) good luck. it's sticker shock even if you haven't been getting it free for fourteen years....so I hear ya!

We use Charlie's Soap. We like it because I don't have an allergic reaction to it.

We opt for Costco's Eco-Friendly/Scent Free detergent and fabric softener. It definitely helps with dry/sensitive skin. I miss the scent of good 'ol Tide Though.

The problem with Costco and other "off" brands is that you have to use twice as much. I think we use Gain, and I like it.

I use liquid Tide for most clothes. And I use powdered Tide with Bleach for whites.

I could ask my husband what he uses and get back to you...

But you'll never run out of butter, right? ;o)

ARM and HAMMER-liquid

snuggle fabric softner.

Best ever!

I use to be a gain user for YEARS.. until Anna sold me on the Arm and hammer.

I use Tide.

I understand your pain. Husband used to travel all the time so we always just used the soap, shampoo, and lotion he'd bring home from hotels. Didn't know what to do when I had to actually buy the stuff. ; )

I'd send some your way, but we're out too!

Yeah we dont use powder, it is the liquid brand from costco apparently I should have been more specific.

I, and my kids, have weird freaky skin that reacts to everything (especially Tide). We use Cheer Free and Clear liquid. I would LOVE to use something cheaper but everytime I do I just break out in a rash.

Good luck!
