A WEE BIT OF ME WEDNESDAY

Yeah - I'm playing along. Go on over to Leigh Ashley's and you can play too!
First - two things you are dying to know about.

1) NO!  Garrett hasn't received his mission call yet.  It will probably come in the mail (between 1-3 pm) tomorrow. And then we will Skype and he will open it in front of family and friends around 10 pm. AND THEN, I WILL ANNOUNCE WHERE HE IS GOING TO THE WORLD!!!!

Really - thanks for caring everyone.  We're all on pins and needles and can hardly stand the suspense.

2) I also owe everyone a post about how much missions cost and WHO pays it.  So, I will get to it.

So on with the show -
Todays questions:
{one} have you ever been on tv?
Why yes, yes I have.
In my working days, when I produced commericals, I only produced extremely CHEAP commericals.
Sometimes, the clients didn't have enough money for talent.  In desperation, they would have me stand in for "the girl who demonstrates how the armoire doors open."  I am NOT photogenic so these people had to be desperate.

Oh and I was in a crowd in an HBO movie.  That's a story for a different day!

{two} what was the best movie you saw last year?
I can't even remember A movie I saw last year.   My life is THAT exciting!

{three} do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
Untucked....just draped over me.

{four} do you cut coupons?
Sometimes.  And whenever I do, I leave them at home.  or sometimes I bring them.....and leave them in the car.

five} do you ever count your steps when you walk?
That's a question?  How embarrassing to answer "yes."  Sometimes if it's really cold and I think I'm probably going to freeze to death or if I'm carrying something heavy and need to convince myself that I really can carry said object 50 more steps.

{six} what sauce do you dip your chicken nuggets in?
No chicken nuggets!  Well, except maybe from Chick-fil-A and then I dip them in the cole slaw.  Weird.  I know.

seven} do you have any magazine subscriptions?
Yes, but I don't have time to read them.  They stay in their plastic sleeves and stack up in a basket.  I find myself reading Thanksgiving recipes and decorating ideas in March.

{eight} when was the last time you wrote a letter on paper?
No idea!

{nine} what’s your favorite fruit pie?
Ummmm...banana cream pie.  Cream is a fruit, right?  Okay, then triple berry or FRESH, homemade peach.  Hey!  It's free pie Wednesday at Village Inn!

{ten} black olives or green olives?
Black, green, kalamata, Greek, stuffed, I love them all!

Now it's your turn....run on over and link up!

I totally forgot about this over the holidays. I'm going to go link up right now. And I'm sure your subscription to the Ensign doesn't get left in the plastic. ;)

I wrote a letter on paper to my son's teacher last week.

But I type love letters, print them, and mail them to Alomst Hubs... does that count?

I love posts like these!! And I am with ya on the sheets. I can't stand to have my feet covered--even in the winter--so I never tuck in the sheets.

And about counting your steps. Never. But I do find myself avoiding cracks when walking on tile. My husband finds that rather eccentric. I don't mean to do it, I just start doing it naturally.

AND . . . can't wait to hear where your son goes on his mission!! How exciting!

Uhm, Mrs. Cox? The BANANA is the fruit in a banana cream pie. I love them, too. But only with vanilla pudding.

I suppose it won't kill me to wait until tomorrow to find out.

haha I think we could argue banana cream pie as a fruit pie if we really had to
