Chocolate Cake, Ferris Beuller's Nose, Bring Me Snow!

It's a New Year!  It's going to SNOW!  And it's RTT: RaNDoM THouGHT TueSDaY!
What could be better?
You can do the randomness too!
Just write your random, link up to Keely at The Unmom, and have a great day!

* I had my day ALL planned yesterday and it was FULL of busy-ness.
Just about the time it got rolling, the school called and said that it looked like Tiny Baby broke his nose.
WTH?
HOW do you  break your nose in science?
So, we spent the morning going to the doctor.
The rest of the day was Ferris Buelleresque...with random texts like "I heard Parker broke his nose."  "Is Parker going to be alright?"  "My sister's, cousin's boyfriend, down at 31 Flavors said that Parker broke his nose, what happened?"

It's probably not broken, just swollen and crooked for life.

* After the patient went to bed,
I babysat a super cute baby - Ize - yesterday.
She was so sweet and she was very generous with the toys when Mr. Chunkers came over for a playdate.
Have you ever seen two 10 month olds have a play date?
It's a love/hate thing.
You just have to make sure no one dies.

 * MMM mmm.  When I'm done here - it's off to the kitchen for chocolate cake for breakfast.
You can't beat it!
Well, maybe I'll add some bacon to the menu for balance!

 * Garrett is going to dinner with some lady from Oppenheimer Funds tonight.
She sponsored Garrett's Econ class.
I wonder if now, she wants to sponsor Garrett.

G- "I have that dinner down in Cherry Creek tomorrow night."
Me: "Huh?"
G- "With the Oppenheimer lady.  She's taking the competition winners to dinner with the teacher."
Me: "Did you WIN?"
G - "No. but it's always been assumed that I was going...the whole semester.  It's me and the 1st place winner and the 2nd place winner."
Me: "Why do YOU get to go?"
G- "Well, everyone has known since the beginning that I for sure would go to the dinner and then whoever else except that I don't think the teacher is going."

Am I the only one who is confused?

 * Remember last week?  My birthday?
Well, one of the really cool things that I did at my fun-filled birthday extravaganza was meet Diane.
Diane is an internet friend (no! not a dating service) who I have known online for like 10 years.
We got to meet IRL!
We had a fabulous time!  She and her beautiful daughter Melanie were tons of fun.
There was no awkward first date stuff or anything!

She was in town for 1 day for a wedding.
I picked her up from the wedding luncheon.
Her family was pretty positive that I was an axe murderer.
She convinced them on the basis of religion and the fact that she has read my blog, that I wouldn't kill her.
Mmmuuwwwhahaha.
Has anybody seen Diane?

* It's supposed to SNOW tomorrow.
Bring it!
THIS is why I live here!
I love all four seasons.
I WANT MORE SNOW!
I'm stamping my feet when I say that.

The chocolate cake is calling!
Have a great Tuesday!

Share the cake. Please.

I love your comment about the babies. But that much yummy baby goodness...No it does NOT make me think about having another one (trust me). It does make me want to babysit though.

Poor Tiny Baby. How the heck did he do that?

Happy RTT!

Ahhh - now I see why you liked my choice of fudge for breakfast.

Is Garrett 15? That SO sounds like the kind of conversation I have all the time with The Young One.

Oh, and it takes talent to break your nose in science class. Has anyone started a "Save Parker's Nose" fund?

I thought about you in Disney. They had these lovely little cupcakes, all dressed up pretty. They would have been perfect for a breakfast morning with you. :)

That Garrett sure knows how to get in on the good stuff.

Hope Tiny Baby feels better!

Can you pass me a piece of chocolate cake, pretty please? And Princess Nagger would be all over adding bacon to that as well. ;)

Awww! Hope Tiny Baby's nose is OK! OUCH!

You're not the only one confused about that whole dinner thing. I am, too!

So where did you stash Diane's body? I might need a good hiding place... ;)

Happy RTT! :)

So, wait, when did he sing Danke Schon? Sorry to hear that his schnoz was in a sling, though.

Two ten month olds don't have a play date. That's WWE with toys.

I can imagine how that play date must have been as I have a niece and a granddaughter that is just a few months between but yet enough that they have a love hate relationship

You can HAVE the snow, and the cold that comes with it. I hate the cold weather. I'm ready for spring.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy RTT.

I think that I am the only person to never see Ferris Bueller.

Nothing wrong with chocolate cake for breakfast. I like mine sitting in milk. see I am a healthy eater!

Happy Belated birthday! Unless I wished you happy birthday last week, then strike that! hahah

My first time visiting your blog...you hardly look old enough to have boys that old!

Loved the Ferris reference and the broken nose story. Made me smile.

Oh, these RTT's are KILLING me this week. I have to uber-diet for a while because of some media stuff and all I see is chocolate everywhere. I MISS CHOCOLATE.

Hi. This is Rachel Williams, Jordan Williams' wife. I asked him who this random Cox lady was that commented on our blog and he was like, "Be her friend because I'm her friend." Hahaha. So, it's nice to meet you... there, now we've unofficially officially met.

I've got snow for you, if you've got chocolate cake for me.

Or bacon. I'm easy.

Hope Tiny Baby's nose feels better soon!

Why exactly was it assumed that G would go to the dinner? I am laughing so hard!!!!! I love that child.
