Everyone was pretty jealous that they didn't get to go to the Beverly Hills wedding and I did.
It's all just part of my super glamorous life.
And in my life, the glamour never ends!
Today is just another exciting day in my life.
Mostly, my days revolve around food -
like, "What is my next meal?"
Okay, the day also revolves around laundry, emptying the dishwasher and when Parker needs to be taken or picked up from school.
I had my traditional lovely breakfast: bakery item and salty item.
Today's breakfast was Lemon Cake and Cheese Puffs. Mmmmm...mmmmm
But wait - wait until you hear about my lunch.
I'm having pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw and homemade cookies..........
after I serve it to 250 other people.
See! I told you that you would be jealous!
But it IS my LAST Teacher Appreciation meal EVER!
That's right.
After seven years of serving enchiladas, sub sandwiches, pasta concoctions, soup bars, salad bars, potato bars, burrito bars and 7,487 dozen cookies and brownies, I'm retiring!
Phew!
My co-hort, partner in crime, sidekick - Margaret had the nerve to go to Greece.
Whatever!
So, I'm flying solo on this one.
I've recruited Garrett as my muscle - he'll haul all the coolers and ice and tables and help me get set-up.
And we usually MAKE a lot of the food, but we're having it catered AND delivered!
So this should be relatively easy - emphasis on relatively.
Talk to me at 3 - when it's all over.

You have my everlasting admiration for doing that for 7 years. After the first I would be, "Okay, I'm done. Someone else's turn now." And then still end up doing it the next time but that's a different story....
And MAKING it all? Holy. Freaking. Cow.
You are freaking awesome! Hey, our school needs a new PTA president...if your looking for a new "job" lol
